Step Out On Faith

Good Morning,

For we walk by faith, not by sight
2 Cor 5:7 KJV

As we approach the last hours of 2009, I ask that we reflect on where we have been, where we are and where we believe God will be taking us in 2010! God has given us all promises and a glimpse into our breakthrough, but in order for us to step into it we need to make some final decisions before we move forward.

God has given us visions, hopes and dreams. He has shown us who we are and what we can do. We have allowed life's circumstance to speak against what God has said or done for us. It's time we step outside of ourselves and evaluate the importance of God in our lives. It's time we step outside ourselves and allow our spirits to give our flesh a reality check!

True we have been tested, true we have faced some challenges, true we have been mistreated, but God says it's all for testimony. We have to see the good in all that we are faced with. We must give God our lives wholeheartedly and experience all He has for us.

If we want the more God has in store for our lives then we must step out on faith today and step into 2010 by faith and not by sight! Our lives depend on it. The countdown is on! We are headed into our Promise Land! 2010 is our time to go in!

Prayer for Today

As I read this Lord in these last hours of 2009 I expect change! I want to reposition myself to step into my Promised Land in the New Year! I expect to have a prosperous New Decade! I expect to step into my purpose! Cleanse me oh Lord, I am ready to be who You called me to be! I am ready to do what You have called me to do! As I read this Lord allow me to tap into the vision You see for my life for next year! Lord allow me to see a glimpse into the next decade! Lord I want to be redeemed, show me my gifts and talents! I am ready to take charge of my purpose! I am ready to live my life more abundantly, I will not enter 2010 with the weight of my past, instead I'll shout like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr "free at last", Lord I'm stepping out on faith, for my life I am ready to win in 2010 and beyond! In Jesus name, Amen
